Service Description
This class is a simple and fun beginner class that will have you enjoying every second of it! Make sure to come to class with an idea of what animals you might like to create out of clay. We'll create one out of pinch pots and then carve, add pieces, and design them to look like an animal. You could make a pinch pot animal that could then be used as a small flower pot! BEFORE YOU TAKE THIS CLASS: Please know that this class has two other times you'll have paid to come in for. The Saturday after you take the class will be footing from 1 to 3 pm, and then a Saturday after the piece has been fired you will be able to come in from 3 to 5 pm to glaze it. GLAZING/PICKING UP YOUR PROJECT: If you do not come in to glaze your piece within a month of receiving notice you can, the pottery will be recycled or given away. The same goes for picking up the project once it's been glaze fired. You'll have a month to come in and pick up the piece, then it will be recycled or given away. I do not have the room to hold on to projects for longer than that.
