Step into September

Who's ready for September classes and events? It feels like it's here way too fast, but we'll make the most of it! You're going to notice that some timeframes have changed. I'm seeing if these new times make it easier for people to come in, since I know a lot of people work or kids have school until a certain time. If these work for you, I definitely want to know!

September Classes:

Weeks are Monday-Sunday.


Week of August 28 to September 3

Tuesday: Hand-build Slab Vase at 4 pm or 6 pm

Wednesday: Giraffe Painting at 10:30 am or 3:30 pm

Thursday: Contour Line Drawing at 4 pm or 6:30 pm

Friday: Pottery Wheel - Mini Pottery at 1:30 pm or 6:30 pm

Saturday: Acrylic Paint - Owl on Branch at 10:30 am

Week of September 4 to 10

Tuesday: Pottery Wheel - Lidded Pot at 4 pm or 6 pm

Wednesday:

Thursday: How to Draw a Mandala at 4 pm or 6:30 pm

**Friday: Hand-build Pumpkins at 1:30 pm or 6:30 pm

Saturday: Oil Paint - Pumpkin at 10:30 am

Week of September 11 to 17

**Tuesday: Hand-build Pumpkins at 1 pm or 6 pm Wednesday: Cats on a Fence at 10:30 am or 3:30 pm

Thursday: Cats on a Fence Painting at 4 pm or 6:30 pm

Friday: Pottery Wheel - Lidded Pot at 4 pm or 6:30 pm

Saturday: Store opens @ 1 pm

Week of September 18 to 24

Tuesday: Pottery Wheel - Chip'n'Dip at 4 pm or 6:30 pm

Wednesday: Zentangle Pumpkin at 10:30 am or 3:30 pm

Thursday: Zentangle Pumpkin at 4 pm or 6 pm

**Friday: Hand-build Gnome at 1:30 pm or 6:30 pm

Saturday: Game Night!

Week of September 25 to October 1

**Tuesday: Hand-build Gnome at 1 pm or 6 pm

Wednesday: Surprise Ferocious Beings Draw/Color at 10:30 am or 3:30 pm

Thursday: Q-tip Fall Tree Painting at 4 pm or 6:30 pm

Friday: Pottery Wheel - Chip'n'Dip at 4 pm or 6:30 pm

September classes will be up within the next week or so! I'll make a post on Facebook/Instagram when you can start registering for them.

**Gnome and pumpkins hand building classes**

These classes are being offered by myself through the THD website and through CCC's community and workforce education program. There are 5 spots available to sign up for through each of us, so a total of 10 spots altogether. If you're interested intaking these classes, be sure to sign up for them via THD or at www.cccneb.edu/commed.


Now, let's talk about October classes.

Wed: Draw/Color Sleeping Fox

Thurs: Acrylic Paint - Gnome Scarecrow

Fri: Will possibly be closed!

Sat: ArtWalk 10 am to 3 pm! We will have 3 different artists and authors in store!

Oct. 9th-15th

Tues: How Good is Your Good Guy? Writing Class

Wed: Starry Night Pumpkins

Thurs: Pottery Wheel - Cup

Fri: Hand-build - Coil project

Sat: Oil Paint - Fall Bridge

Oct. 16th-22nd

Tues: How Bad is Your Bad Guy? Writing Class

Wed: Cat on Headstone Painting

Thurs: Hand-build - Coil project

Fri: Pottery Wheel - Cup

Sat: Game Night | Store Opens at 1 pm

Oct. 23rd-29th

Tues: The Rest of the People Writing Class

Wed: Pointillism Leaf Art

Thurs: Love Ewe Candle Class

Fri: Pottery Wheel - Blate (Plate/bowl together)

Also in October: the first few classes of a series of writing classes that local author Tim A.F. Schuler will be teaching! There will be 8 classes in total, but you can come to a few, or you can take all 8 for a discounted price! Also, something new that I am starting: The THD Club of (Yarn) Hookers! If you do anything with yarn and would like to get together with like-minded people. join the group on Facebook! We'll eventually figure out a time and day to get together to stitch and bitch. :) It's also a place to share videos and pictures of projects you're working on or ask for help if you're stuck on a pattern.
